Results of the Mendip & Tiverton 2023 Summer Championship

Time to take a peek at what I spent my summer doing. First off, the 2wd Championship at my local track, Mendip.

First off, Congrats to Keith Halsey. Seeing off stiff challenges from Dane, Gavin and Neal while spannering 3 or 4 cars at a time is no small feat, nice one!

And shouts out to Andy Nelson, Chris Law, Mike Halsey and Steve Pollinger. All of which have had strong seasons after I had pipped them last year. Must do better next year!

And obviously, I need to find a special way to send commiserations to John Farringdon for beating him by one place and 7 points. I’ll let Mr Bean do the talking…

Congrats to Jordan Newbery on a pretty much immaculate season.

And a shout for Luke Bradshaw, looks like I’m going to get overtaken again because this is big step in performance to nearly get me this year.

And obviously, well done to John who used his cheaty Orb to paddle his way to beating me through the wet summer. Oddly, I found a gif of Mr Bean impersonating the Orb. The resemblance is uncanny:
