Bristol Racers 28/02/2025

Very pleasing night at Long Ashton. Finally got the Cero to a place where I can start to trust it and push it. Started posting sub 6 Second laps, and there were signs that as long as I kept my head in the right place, I could do it consistantly. Only slight issue was a body tuck in Q3, but the work was already done at that point.

Particularly happy with sneaking a cheeky win in the Final Leg 1. James has improved at a fearsome rate over the last year, and he was tough to beat.

Leg 2 was just as competitive, I gave up 3 little mistakes and despite having the pace, it was no match for James’ impressive consistency. Matt nipped ahead of me quite early and just cost me a crucial point. But that’s not a worry when the pace in the car seems to get better with every heat.

Perfect warm up for Sunday at Swindon. Full send time!
